Life Story: Keep Going, Don't Give Up - My 700 Pieces Homemade Aiskrim Malaysia Story

Last year, during my unemployment season, I found myself wondering how I was going to earn money.

Being unemployed was not easy. There was uncertainty about what would come next, and I knew I needed to find a way to earn an income. But at that time, I didn't really know what to do. I kept thinking about how I could make money, what I could try, and where I should begin.

That was when I started making Homemade Aiskrim Malaysia. You can read the post here,

Life Story: Aiskrim Malaysia - Dari Nostalgia Masa Kecil, Menjadi Simbol Harapan

Honestly, I didn't start with a big business plan. I wasn't thinking about becoming a successful entrepreneur or building a huge business. I was simply trying to find a way to earn money during a difficult season of my life.

I started with what I could do.

Little did I know that this small attempt would eventually become part of a story I would be sharing today.

Starting Small When Life Feels Uncertain

Sometimes, life puts us in situations we never planned for.

We may have a career, experience, and plans for the future, but things can change unexpectedly. Suddenly, we find ourselves starting over, looking for new opportunities, and trying to figure out our next move.

That was a season when I had to think differently.

Instead of waiting for the perfect opportunity, I started exploring what I could do with what I had. Making homemade ice cream became one of the ways I tried to create an income for myself.

It wasn't about having everything figured out. It was about trying something rather than doing nothing.

And I learned that sometimes, we don't need to see the entire road ahead of us. We just need enough courage to take the first step.

From Uncertainty to 700 Pieces

Fast-forward to this month, and I received an order for 700 pieces of Homemade Aiskrim Malaysia.

Seven hundred pieces!

This is the biggest order I have received so far, and I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity.

When I think about how this journey began, I am reminded of the person I was last year, someone who was unemployed, wondering how to earn money, and trying to find a way forward.

I couldn't have predicted this moment back then.

Of course, one big order doesn't mean that everything in life is suddenly easy or that every challenge has disappeared. But it is a milestone worth appreciating.

It reminds me that the things we start during difficult seasons can still become meaningful parts of our journey.

Sometimes, we begin something simply because we need to survive a difficult chapter. Along the way, we gain experience, discover new possibilities, and learn more about ourselves.

And that is worth celebrating.

Keep Going, Don't Give Up

If there is one lesson I want to take from this experience, it is this: keep going, don't give up.

There will be seasons when we feel lost. There will be days when our efforts seem small and our progress feels slow. We may even question whether what we are doing is worth it. But we shouldn't be too quick to dismiss our small beginnings.

You might be trying to build a side income, start a small business, find a new job, or rebuild your life after an unexpected setback. Whatever your situation may be, give yourself permission to start small.

You don't need to have all the answers today. You don't need to know exactly where your journey will take you.

Take the next step. Learn as you go. Keep trying.

And when things get difficult, remember why you started.

My Homemade Aiskrim Malaysia journey began during a season when I didn't know how to earn money. Today, I am celebrating my biggest order so far: 700 pieces.

I am thankful for this milestone, but I am also thankful for the reminder it has given me.

Sometimes, the most important thing we can do is simply refuse to give up on ourselves.

Keep going, even when the beginning is small.

Keep going, even when the future is uncertain.

Keep going, even when you don't know what comes next.

You never know what might grow from the little thing you start today.
