When I started Borneo Working Mom, I never imagined that one day I would be writing this.
My goal was simple.
Reach 10,000 monthly page views.
Today, I'm incredibly grateful to say that I've achieved that milestone!
I just can't believe my eyes and even double confirm with ChatGPT whether the numbers I'm seeing is correct!! Reaching this milestone mean a lot to me!
It wasn't about becoming famous or competing with other bloggers or anyone else. It was a promise I made to myself to keep writing, keep learning, and keep sharing stories that could encourage and help others.
In fact, when I checked my analytics, I was surprised to see that my blog had grown even beyond my original goal. I smiled, said a little prayer of thanks, and took a screenshot because I wanted to remember this moment forever.
This Milestone Means More Than Numbers
To some people, it's just page views. To me, it's proof that consistency matters.
Every article was written around my full-time job.
Some were written after my son had gone to bed.
Some during weekends.
Some during moments when I felt exhausted but still believed my dream was worth pursuing.
This milestone reminds me that small, consistent actions can lead to something much bigger than we imagine.
To Every Working Mom Reading This
If you have a dream, please don't let it disappear because life became busy.
Yes, we have responsibilities. We have careers, families, children, and countless things demanding our attention. But we are also allowed to have dreams.
Whether your dream is to write a book, start a business, learn a new skill, or create something meaningful, don't wait for the perfect time.
Start with what you have.
Start where you are.
Even if it's only 30 minutes a day.
Progress is still progress.
